The project was to supply and install three EV chargers to the companies car park.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

UPUK supplied and installed 3 EV charging points with double sockets across the company’s car park.

We carried out all the required electric and excavation work to connect the units to the customer’s supply. The excavation work required the digging of a 650mm deep trench to ensure room for all necessary cables and objects.

The charging points connect to a distribution box inside the compound that can be used to turn on or off as well as isolate the use of the charging points.

To ensure the long-term protection of the points, we also installed 4 concrete bollards. These were placed evenly along the charging points to stop people from accidently vehicle damage.

All surfaces were reinstated and the grass areas compacted/reseeded to ensure a finished look.
