FORMER KODAK SITE KNOWSLEY, MERSEYSIDE

An ongoing project to disconnect utilities from the iconic former Kodak factory in Knowsley in preparation for demolition and redevelopment.

The site in question comprises several multi-story buildings over an area of around 14,000 square metres

Our involvement included the disconnection of the electric, gas, water and telecoms infrastructure.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The unknown aspect of the Knowsley project was the biggest (and most exciting) challenge. The infrastructure around and within the site was decades olds and required us to expect the unexpected at every stage.

The most pleasing aspect about the job was how we were able to coordinate the utility works within the budget and on time as our clients identified afterwards

“…the work has been more of a challenge than ever envisaged. Please thank Chris and the team for their persistence and ingenuity in finding solutions.

Knowsley was further proof that as far as UPUK is concerned, there really is no job too big!
