The development was to deliver two commercial properties to an existing commercial space.

UPUK was tasked with installing the below to all properties on the development:

• Electric supply, including EV charging points
• Gas, water and telecoms supply.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Prior to our involvement, the site was being used as a car park serving a number of out-of-town retail units at the popular Sandbrook Park Retail Estate in Rochdale.

The development involved the creation of a Travelodge and KFC restaurant on the site.

The work involved excavation of the site, the creation of an electric substation onsite and meter installation.

Installing a 800kVA sub helped future proof the site and the Sandbrook project was our first foray into the world of car-charging points.
